Greetings! I'm Amandine, but you can also call me Mélu. I'm a Web Design student who loves cats and bright colors. 🐱

Who I am

I'm a Belgian cat enthusiast currently studying web design at Haute École Albert Jacquard (HEAJ).

I consider myself a level-headed person who can adapt quickly to the unexpected and who learns new things quickly.

I'm passionate about making the web more accessible and fun, so I keep a close eye on projects that aim to do just that, like Astro and Fandom Coders.

In my free time, I also enjoy drawing, playing video games, and occasionally writing stories.

What I do

I do a bit of everything, but Sass is my bread-and-butter; there’s just something so satisfying about seeing a design actually come to life! I’m also pretty decent at MDX, Astro, JavaScript, and even JSON (thanks to the DataPlay workshop).

For me, code and design go hand-in-hand, so I prefer doing both at the same time. I like throwing my code at the (metaphorical) wall to see what sticks, which can lead to some quirky results, though I always make sure to clean my messes.
