Greetings! I'm Amandine, but you can also call me Mélu. I'm a Web Design student who loves cats and bright colors. 🐱

Who I am

I'm a Belgian cat enthusiast currently studying web design at Haute École Albert Jacquard (HEAJ).

I consider myself a level-headed person who can adapt quickly to the unexpected and who learns new things quickly.

I'm passionate about making the web more accessible and fun, so I keep a close eye on projects that aim to do just that, like Astro (which this website was made in!) and Fandom Coders.

In my free time, I also enjoy drawing, playing video games, and occasionally writing stories.

What I do

Despite my preference for good ol' frontend, I've found I have an unexpected knack for backend tinkering as well.

Things I know: HTML, (S)CSS, JavaScript, Markdown/MDX, Astro

Things I'm learning: VueJS, PHP

Things I use: VSCode, Figma, Git(hub), Wordpress

For me, code and design go hand-in-hand, so I prefer doing both at the same time. I like throwing my code at the (metaphorical) wall to see what sticks, which can lead to some quirky results, though I always make sure to clean my messes.
